Because she's the opposite of inconspicuous, she's used to that advantage: put on undercover missions bc she'd really fuck up anything else
Really, she is a shitty SHIELD agent.
Her assignments are "keep an eye on this superhero" undercover
Lord knows she blows it... often by hitting on them
When SHIELD disbands, she follows Maria: working for Stark Industries... then working at the Avengers Compound
bc y'all, she's a walking liability
